Mirwaiz Condemns Heinous Killing of Minor Girl in Ganderbal

Srinagar, Aug 18: Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, has expressed shock over the brutal killing of a minor girl in Ganderbal during a failed abduction attempt.He said the incident has shaken society and exposed the insecurity faced by women and children. Urging swift action, he called for the culprits to be given the harshest punishment to restore public confidence.Extending condolences to the bereaved family, Mirwaiz stressed that society and institutions share the responsibility of protecting women and children from such tragedies.
