In a significant step towards strengthening healthcare infrastructure in remote areas, Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary on Sunday laid the foundation stone for a Block Public Health Unit (BPHU) at Andhrooth in Nowshera.
The upcoming health facility, to be developed under the aegis of HSCC Ltd., aims to provide accessible and essential healthcare services to residents of far-flung areas in the region.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy CM Choudhary said, “This initiative is part of our broader commitment to bridging the healthcare gap in underserved areas. The new unit will ensure timely medical assistance and preventive care to the people of Andhrooth and adjoining villages.”
