Jammu, May 11:
Dputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary, and Hon’ble Minister Satish Sharma on Sunday attended the wreath-laying ceremony held in honour of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa (JKAS) and Sub-Inspector Md. Imteyaz of the Border Security Force (BSF), who were martyred in cross-border shelling by Pakistan.

The solemn ceremony paid tribute to the courage and sacrifice of the two officers who lost their lives in the line of duty. Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, a Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services officer, and SI Md. Imteyaz were killed while serving in a high-tension area along the Line of Control.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister expressed deep sorrow and conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. “Their sacrifice will not be forgotten. The nation stands united in grief and gratitude,” he said.
