SRINAGAR: Punjab Police’s State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) has arrested a serving Army soldier, Devinder Singh, in Uri, Baramulla, for allegedly leaking sensitive military information to Pakistan’s ISI, India Today reported.Singh, a resident of Nihalgarh village in Punjab’s Sangrur district, was arrested on July 14 following disclosures by ex-Army personnel Gurpreet Singh alias Guri/Fauji, who is in custody in an espionage case.While lodged in Ferozepur Jail, Gurpreet revealed Devinder’s role in passing classified documents, leading to his arrest in the border town. The case is part of a broader crackdown on espionage networks targeting India’s defence setup.
