Mumbai, July 17: An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Goa was diverted to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) on Wednesday night after developing a technical snag mid-air.
Flight 6E 6271, operating an Airbus A320neo, was scheduled to land at Goa’s Manohar International Airport but made an emergency landing in Mumbai at 9:52 PM. A full emergency was declared at 9:35 PM and withdrawn at 9:57 PM after the aircraft landed safely.
All passengers were safely deboarded and assisted by airport staff. CSMIA confirmed there was no disruption to operations, adding that passenger safety remains its top priority.
