New Delhi, May 3 – Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Saturday to discuss the prevailing situation in the Union Territory, particularly in the wake of last week’s terror attack in Pahalgam, officials said.
The meeting, held at the Prime Minister’s residence, lasted around 30 minutes and covered a range of issues, including security concerns following the April 22 attack that left 26 people dead, most of them tourists.
This was the first meeting between the two leaders since the deadly incident, which has sparked widespread condemnation and heightened security alerts in the region.
