Army Soldier, 32, Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Poonch

May 5: A 32-year-old army personnel died after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest in the Haveli area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district during the intervening night of May 4 and 5, officials said.The soldier has been identified as Naik Gurban Singh, son of Pritam Singh, a resident of Punjab.According to officials, Singh was rushed to District Hospital Poonch after he collapsed, but was declared brought dead by the doctors.Following the necessary medico-legal procedures, his body was handed over to his unit.
