Srinagar, June 1: Chief Minister and Vice President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Omar Abdullah, has convened a meeting of the party’s legislators on June 3 at his Gupkar residence in Srinagar.
Sources said all NC MLAs have been personally invited to attend the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM. In his communication to the legislators, Abdullah stated that the meeting would focus on issues of collective importance and matters related to public welfare.
The meeting comes amid growing political interest following Omar Abdullah’s recent remarks indicating that he would make a significant political statement after Eid. Speaking at a public function in Tangmarg on May 6, he had said he would speak openly on key issues after the festival.
