Srinagar, Monday: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today felicitated beneficiaries of various flagship government schemes, including Mission YUVA, the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) and the Jammu and Kashmir Competitive Industry Programme (JKCIP), at a समारोह held at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering youth, strengthening livelihoods and promoting inclusive and sustainable growth across Jammu and Kashmir. He said that initiatives like Mission YUVA are aimed at harnessing the potential of young entrepreneurs, while HADP and JKCIP are focused on revitalising the agriculture and industrial sectors to create employment and boost the local economy.
Congratulating the beneficiaries, Omar Abdullah noted that targeted interventions and financial support under these schemes are helping people become self-reliant and contribute meaningfully to the region’s development. He emphasised that the government remains focused on ensuring transparency, efficiency and timely delivery of benefits to deserving individuals.
