Jammu, Nov 23: Jammu must adopt a focused strategy to transform its growing influx of pilgrims into extended tourist stays by showcasing the region’s diverse leisure, heritage, adventure, and spiritual attractions beyond the traditional pilgrimage circuit, Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo has said.

Emphasising stronger digital engagement, Dulloo called for the proactive use of online platforms and social media — including partnerships with influencers — to boost visibility and draw both domestic and international travellers.

Dulloo made the remarks while chairing a meeting convened to review the initiatives and ongoing projects of the Tourism Department aimed at promoting and strengthening tourism across the Jammu region, an official spokesperson said.
