Budgam, Oct 21: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Sunil Sharma on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the National Conference (NC), claiming that people are fed up with the Abdullah family’s decades-long political dominance and the party’s repeated failures.

Sharma said a “big fight” has begun against dynastic politics in Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that the National Conference is on the verge of collapse. “The NC has ruled for decades but failed to bring real progress. People are tired of family control and empty promises,” Sharma said while addressing a gathering in Budgam.

He added that the NC’s “grip on power” has weakened and predicted that its MLAs would soon “scatter” as public trust continues to erode.

“Voters in Budgam are now seeking a genuine alternative, and the BJP offers that change. The people want development, transparency, and an end to nepotism — and only the BJP can ensure that,” Sharma said.
