Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast intermittent rain, thundershowers and gusty winds across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, while indicating mostly dry weather during May 26 and 27.

According to the latest weather advisory issued by the MeT Centre Srinagar, scattered places across the Valley may experience brief showers and gusty winds towards late afternoon hours from May 23 to 25.

The weather department said conditions are likely to remain generally dry on May 26 and 27.

However, from May 28 to 29, many places in Jammu and Kashmir are expected to witness one or two spells of rain, thundershowers and gusty winds.

The MeT department further predicted that from May 30 to June 2, brief spells of rain and thunder are likely at a few places, mainly during late afternoon hours.

Authorities have advised residents, farmers and travelers to stay updated with official weather advisories, particularly during periods of gusty winds and thunderstorms.
