Srinagar, Aug 28: Cabinet Minister Javid Rana on Thursday said the government is closely monitoring the flood situation in Jammu and Kashmir and assured that a permanent solution is being worked out.
He said the Chief Minister has personally reviewed the situation in Jammu and issued directions for relief and rehabilitation.
“Our advisor and department are monitoring the situation in Kashmir since yesterday. God willing, we will ensure a permanent solution,” Rana said.
Appealing for public cooperation, he added, “The government is committed to safeguarding people, and Kashmir will not be allowed to suffer repeatedly from such disasters.”
