Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Thursday flagged off a white-water rafting expedition on the Kishanganga River in the breathtaking Gurez Valley, marking a significant step in promoting adventure tourism in the region.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony, the Chief Minister highlighted the untapped tourism potential of Gurez. “With nature as its playground, Gurez is poised to become a premier destination for adventure enthusiasts,” he said.
