Kulgam, Wednesday:
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today distributed Mission YUVA Sanction Letters to a group of emerging entrepreneurs in Kulgam, marking a significant push toward youth empowerment in the district. During the event, he also presented Capacity Building Certificates to trainees who recently completed skill-development programmes under the initiative.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said the Mission YUVA programme is aimed at equipping young people with the skills and financial support needed to build sustainable livelihoods. He noted that the government is committed to fostering entrepreneurship and expanding employment opportunities across Jammu and Kashmir.
Officials from the district administration said that the sanctioned projects will help promote self-employment, while the training certificates will enable youth to pursue wider avenues in the job market. Beneficiaries expressed hope that the support will help them establish their ventures and contribute to local economic growth.
