SRINAGAR: The State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Baramulla and Civil Defence Uri on Monday recovered the body of a minor from Hyderpora, Srinagar, who drowned in the Gantmulla Power Canal in Boniyar, Baramulla.
The victim, Ahmad Bin Khalid, was among four family members who drowned while bathing on Sunday. One person was rescued, and another minor’s body was recovered the same day. With Ahmad’s recovery, two bodies have been found, while the search continues for Mehnaz Rashid Shah, son of Ab Rashid Shah from Khanyar, Srinagar.
The rescue operation involves SDRF, Civil Defence Uri, J&K Police, and local volunteers.
