Ramban, April 26:
The Deputy Commissioner (District Election Officer), Ramban, has issued an official order announcing the temporary haltage of traffic on National Highway-44 (NH-44) in District Ramban. The restriction will be in place from 8:00 AM on Sunday, April 27, 2025, until 8:00 AM on Monday, April 28, 2025.

According to the order, the decision has been taken to facilitate the widening work of a damaged portion of the highway. The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and concerned agencies are set to carry out urgent repairs and strengthening activities during this period.

Authorities have advised commuters, transporters, and travelers to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid any inconvenience. Emergency vehicles, however, are expected to be provided passage based on the situation and road conditions.
