Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary, today met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in Mumbai. During the meeting, Choudhary expressed satisfaction over the measures implemented by the Maharashtra Government to ensure the safety and well-being of Jammu and Kashmir residents living in the state.
Choudhary appreciated the proactive steps taken by Maharashtra authorities in maintaining law and order and safeguarding the interests of the J&K community. He also conveyed gratitude on behalf of the Jammu and Kashmir administration and emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the two states.
Officials said both leaders discussed strengthening coordination to address any challenges faced by residents from Jammu and Kashmir in Maharashtra.
