A joint search operation was initiated by the Army and police in the Veerpur area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district late Thursday night, following reports of suspicious movement.
Officials said that residents of the locality alerted the police after noticing the presence of unidentified individuals. Acting on the tip-off, security forces swiftly arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area to conduct a thorough search.
The operation was still underway when last reports were received, with additional forces deployed to strengthen the security grid and assist in the ongoing efforts.
