DGP Urges Vigilance, Coordination Amid Emerging Threats

SRINAGAR: Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat on Saturday urged security forces to remain vigilant and maintain real-time coordination to tackle emerging threats effectively.

Chairing a hybrid security review meeting at PCR Kashmir, DGP Prabhat praised the professionalism and commitment of all security agencies operating in challenging conditions. He emphasized the need for innovative strategies to meet evolving security challenges.

The meeting was attended by senior officers from J&K Police, Army, BSF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, CISF, and intelligence agencies, including GOC 15 Corps Lt Gen Prashant Srivastava and GOC 9 Corps Lt Gen Rajan Sharawat.

Discussions focused on the ongoing Amarnath Yatra and the broader security situation across the Union Territory. Officials provided updates on current challenges and the coordinated efforts underway to maintain peace in the region.
