SRINAGAR, July 9 — Education Minister Sakina Itoo on Wednesday said school timings after the summer break may be reviewed in light of improving weather and feedback from parents.
Speaking in Baramulla, Itoo defended the earlier shift to early morning classes, citing the intense heatwave. “The change was made to protect students and keep the academic calendar on track,” she said.
Now, with cooler weather and growing public concern, the government is open to reconsidering the schedule. “We want to ensure students continue learning comfortably and without disruption,” she added.
