Rajnath Singh Arrives in Srinagar to Assess Security Preparedness

SRINAGAR, May 15: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Srinagar on Thursday to review the prevailing security situation and evaluate the operational readiness of the armed forces in Jammu and Kashmir.This is Singh’s first visit to the Union Territory since the launch of Operation Sindoor, India’s recent military response targeting terror infrastructure across the border.Officials said the Defence Minister will be briefed on the current security dynamics and measures undertaken to strengthen counter-terror operations in the region.
