Srinagar, Sept 7: The next seven days are expected to bring largely stable weather to Jammu and Kashmir, with only brief spells of rain in certain areas, according to the latest forecast.

September 7: Cloudy skies are likely across most parts of the region, with the possibility of light to moderate showers in some areas. No major rainfall is expected today.

September 8: Monsoon activity could intensify in the Jammu region during the morning hours, where a few locations may receive heavy showers. In the Kashmir Valley, light to moderate rain is likely in some pockets, while other areas will remain mostly cloudy.

September 9: A brief rain shower is possible at a few places, but overall weather conditions will remain calm without any significant rainfall.

September 10–13: The weather is expected to remain mostly dry across both Jammu and Kashmir divisions. However, the possibility of isolated short rain showers in a few pockets cannot be ruled out.

Cautionary Note: While the forecast does not indicate widespread heavy rain, the possibility of intense showers or cloudbursts cannot be completely ruled out during this period. Residents are advised to remain alert, particularly in hilly and flood-prone areas.
