Srinagar: The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has forecast a spell of wet weather across Jammu and Kashmir, with light to moderate rain and snowfall expected at most places between January 22 and 24.

According to the weather advisory, heavy rain and snowfall are likely over a few districts of the Pir Panjal range and South Kashmir, particularly during the night of January 22 and throughout January 23.

The MeT department has further predicted another moderate wet spell from January 26 to 27, during which most areas of the Union Territory may witness rain or snowfall, with heavy precipitation at isolated places.

Authorities have advised residents, tourists, and commuters to remain cautious, especially in snow-bound and mountainous regions, as the weather conditions may affect road connectivity and daily activities. Travelers are urged to follow official advisories and stay updated with the latest forecasts.
