May 8- Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar, a brave soldier of the 5-Field Regiment, was among 13 people who lost their lives in intense Pakistani shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch sector on Wednesday.
Hailing from a village in Haryana’s Palwal district, the 32-year-old had been serving in the Indian Army since 2014. He is survived by his wife and two young children. His father, Daya Chand, shared that Kumar’s commitment to the nation was deeply rooted in the family, with both his younger brothers also serving in the armed forces.
