November 28- Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the Indian Blind Women’s T20 World Cup Champions at his residence, warmly congratulating them for their determination and resilience. He praised their hard work, noting that those who persevere never fail—on the field or in life. Commending the players for creating their own identity, he said their achievements have strengthened their confidence and inspired the nation.

Marking 150 years of Vande Mataram, Shri Modi said the team’s spirit embodies unity and national pride. He also appreciated the musical talent of a player who sang devotional verses, linking it to his connection with Kashi.

In a cheerful moment, he compared the team’s all-round abilities to the multiple roles in politics. The players shared emotional accounts of overcoming societal barriers and personal hardships, including one who fulfilled her late father’s dream by meeting the Prime Minister.

Shri Modi assured the team that their success motivates not just the differently-abled but all Indians. He lauded their contribution to India’s global image and encouraged them to continue their journey with courage and confidence.
