Poonch, Aug 4:
Minister of State for Education, Sakeena Itoo, conducted surprise inspections at Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Surankote and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Lassana on Monday to assess academic performance and infrastructure standards.
During her visit, the minister interacted with students and teaching staff, taking firsthand feedback on the facilities, quality of education, and learning environment. She reviewed classroom conditions, availability of basic amenities, and the overall academic atmosphere in both institutions.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment to equitable and quality education, Minister Itoo stressed the need for timely redressal of issues faced by students and staff. She directed the concerned authorities to address infrastructure gaps, ensure regular monitoring, and improve teaching outcomes.
“The government remains focused on bridging disparities in the education sector and ensuring that every student, regardless of their location, has access to quality learning,” the minister said.
Officials from the Education Department accompanied the minister during the inspections.
