New Delhi: Dr. Nisar-ul-Hassan, a Kashmir-based doctor who was dismissed by the Jammu and Kashmir government in 2023 over alleged anti-national activities, has reportedly gone missing following the November 10 car blast near Delhi’s Red Fort that claimed at least 12 lives and left several others injured.
Dr. Hassan, formerly an assistant professor at Srinagar’s SMHS Hospital, had been working with Al-Falah University in Haryana’s Faridabad district before his disappearance. Authorities are now investigating potential links between a network of medical professionals and the explosion that occurred close to the Red Fort Metro Station.
In an official statement, Al-Falah University confirmed it is extending full cooperation to law enforcement agencies. Officials from the university’s South Delhi and Okhla offices stated that no investigative teams have visited their campuses so far.( Inputs from India Today)
