Srinagar, Oct 18: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid obeisance to the sacred relics of Lord Buddha that were brought from India and enshrined at the Geden Sheddup Choikorling Monastery, the main Buddhist monastery in Elista, Russia.The relics have been taken to Elista as part of a cultural and spiritual exchange, symbolizing the deep-rooted historical and religious ties between India and Russia.Sharing his sentiments on social media platform X, the Lieutenant Governor wrote, “I pray to Lord Buddha to bless us all and strengthen the spiritual bond between the people.”
