Srinagar, July 22:
The Jammu and Kashmir Coordination Committee of Graduate Associations of Civil and Mechanical Engineers called on a senior government official at the Civil Secretariat in Srinagar on Tuesday to express their gratitude for the recent round of promotions within the engineering cadre.

During the meeting, the delegation acknowledged the government’s efforts in addressing long-pending career advancement concerns and appreciated the transparent process adopted for the promotions.

The official assured the committee of the government’s continued commitment to ensuring fair and timely career progression for engineers in the Union Territory. “The government remains steadfast in its resolve to uphold merit and transparency in all departmental advancements,” the official stated.

The interaction reflects the administration’s ongoing engagement with professional bodies and its dedication to fostering a motivated and efficient engineering workforce for the region’s developmental needs.
