Srinagar, May 7, 2025 — Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah held a high-level meeting today to assess the security situation along the state’s border and Line of Control (LoC). The meeting focused on safeguarding civilian lives, strengthening border infrastructure, and ensuring swift responses to emerging threats.

The Chief Minister emphasized the need for enhanced coordination between civil and security agencies, as well as improving communication systems in vulnerable areas. He urged vigilance in border villages to maintain peace and public confidence.
