SRINAGAR, Apr 21: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44), along with the SSG and Sinthan roads, continues to remain closed for vehicular movement following landslides and snowfall over the past two days.
According to official sources, the clearance operations are underway, but the roads are still not safe for travel.
Meanwhile, the Mughal Road is open for light motor vehicles (LMVs) traveling from Srinagar to Jammu via Poonch. Officials stated that vehicles will be allowed to pass through Herpora between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
Authorities have urged commuters to avoid travel on NH-44, SSG Road, and Sinthan Road until conditions improve and the routes are declared safe.
