New Delhi, Thursday:
Member of Parliament Agha Rahullah on Thursday raised concerns over the difficulties faced by Indian students in Iran, stating that many are struggling to book return tickets and remain in contact with their families due to communication outages.
In a post on social media platform X, Rahullah highlighted the distressing situation of Indian students, particularly those based in Tehran, and urged immediate intervention from Indian authorities. He appealed to the Indian Embassy in Tehran and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to step in and provide urgent assistance.
“Indian students in Iran are struggling to book tickets and contact families due to communication outages. We urge the @IndianEmbassyTeh and @MEAIndia to urgently assist students in Tehran with ticket bookings and safe return logistics. Their families are in need of help,” Rahullah wrote.
