JAIPUR (May 1) – A devastating fire broke out at a hotel in Ajmer’s Diggi Bazaar area on Thursday, claiming the lives of four people. According to officials, the victims included two men, a woman, and a child, who succumbed to burn injuries and suffocation.

Eyewitnesses reported that some hotel guests attempted to escape by jumping from windows to save their lives amid the inferno. Local authorities and a police team swiftly arrived at the scene, launching efforts to control the blaze.

Dr. Anil Samaria, Principal of JLN Medical College, confirmed the casualties, stating, “Four people, including two men, a woman, and a child, have tragically died due to suffocation and burn injuries.”

The incident, which occurred early in the morning, has raised concerns about fire safety measures at the hotel. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and whether proper fire safety protocols were in place.
