Emergency responders quickly transported the injured individuals to a nearby hospital. One of the victims was later transferred to a medical facility in Srinagar for specialized care.

The injured have been identified as Sumitra, a resident of Chhattisgarh (who was referred to Srinagar), Mukesh Kumar from Jammu’s Akhnoor region, Vikas, the son of Narinder Singh, also from Jammu, and Hari Shankar, a resident of Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh.

Authorities have begun investigating the cause of the accident, and the local police are taking necessary steps in response.
