SRINAGAR: Four people were killed and seven others injured after a dumper collided with a Sumo passenger vehicle on the Waterwani stretch of Budgam Ring Road late Saturday evening.
Officials said three victims died on the spot, while the fourth succumbed to injuries in hospital. Locals rushed to assist before the injured were taken to nearby medical centres.
SSP Budgam Nikhil Borkar confirmed the fatalities and said several passengers were injured. Police have registered a case and begun investigating the cause of the crash.
