Srinagar, January 15

An earthquake jolted several parts of Jammu and Kashmir at around 7:10 PM on Thursday, triggering panic among residents who rushed out of their homes and offices as the tremors were felt.

The intensity and epicentre of the earthquake were not immediately known, and no official statement has been issued so far by disaster management authorities or the Meteorological Department.
As of now, no reports of loss of life or damage to property have been received. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation.
