GULMARG, May 28: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah arrived at the historic Gulmarg Club on Wednesday to chair a high-level government meeting aimed at reviewing key developmental initiatives across the Union Territory.
The meeting, which brought together top officials and local representatives, focused on assessing the progress of ongoing projects and planning future strategies for sustainable growth in the region.
Welcoming the Chief Minister’s decision to hold the meeting in the popular tourist destination, local MLA Pirzada Farooq Ahmed Shah said the move sends a strong message of peace, stability, and hospitality to the rest of the country.
“I am very grateful to the Chief Minister for choosing Gulmarg as the venue for this important meeting,” Shah told ANI. “The review of developmental work is a crucial step, and holding it here highlights the significance of Gulmarg as a hub for tourism and progress.
