Srinagar, Feb 18: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday moved 13 Demands and 19 Supplementary Demands in the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly for discussion and approval of grants across key government departments.

The proposals, tabled during the ongoing Budget session, seek financial allocations for various sectors aimed at strengthening public services and accelerating development across the Union Territory.

According to the official schedule, the House will take up a detailed discussion on the Demands for Grants on February 18 and 19, allowing members to deliberate on departmental allocations and priorities.

The Chief Minister is slated to deliver his reply to the discussion tomorrow, after which the Assembly is expected to take up voting on the Demands for Grants.
