New Delhi, June 5: Marking World Environment Day, the Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir planted a sapling at Jammu & Kashmir House in New Delhi, reaffirming the government’s commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of collective efforts in protecting the environment and promoting a greener future. He said that tree plantation is a vital step towards combating climate change and preserving natural resources for future generations.
“Every tree planted today is an investment in cleaner air, healthier communities and a more resilient tomorrow,” the Chief Minister remarked, urging citizens to actively participate in afforestation drives and environmental protection initiatives.
