Jammu, July 16 – Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today inaugurated Project 13 13 at the National Hospital, Jammu, marking a significant step toward affordable and quality healthcare for women in the region.
The ambitious project, designed to make women’s healthcare more accessible, inclusive, and affordable, was hailed by the Chief Minister as a “model initiative” in public health. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Chief Minister commended the hospital’s commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and addressing the pressing needs of women across Jammu and Kashmir.
“Project 13 13 represents a bold and compassionate approach to women’s health. I congratulate the entire team at National Hospital for this visionary effort,” the Chief Minister said.
Hospital officials stated that Project 13 13 will focus on providing comprehensive medical care for women, including maternal health, reproductive services, cancer screenings, and preventive care, all at affordable rates.
