New Delhi, April 25:
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital and expressed unwavering support to the Union Government in its efforts to combat terrorism. The meeting comes in the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed several lives and left the nation in shock.

Following the meeting, Naidu took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to condemn the attack and convey solidarity with the Centre. “The horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam has left the nation anguished. No amount of condemnation is enough for such cowardly violence,” the CM stated in his post.

Reiterating the commitment of his state to national security, Naidu said, “The Government and the people of Andhra Pradesh stand united with the families of the victims. We pledge our full support to PM Modi Ji’s decisive leadership in safeguarding India’s security.”

Sources close to the meeting said discussions focused on strengthening coordination between the state and central governments to enhance counter-terrorism measures. Naidu’s visit underscores a broader message of unity among political leadership in the face of threats to national integrity.

The Pahalgam attack, which took place earlier this week, has drawn widespread condemnation from across the political spectrum, with leaders calling for strict action against those responsible.
