SRINAGAR: Air India has cancelled multiple domestic and international flights on Friday, citing intensified aircraft safety inspections, unfavourable weather conditions, and ongoing airspace restrictions.
Key affected routes include Dubai-Chennai, Delhi-Melbourne, Dubai-Hyderabad, Pune-Delhi, Ahmedabad-Delhi, Hyderabad-Mumbai, and Chennai-Mumbai.
In an official statement, the airline announced: “Flights AI906 (Dubai–Chennai), AI308 (Delhi–Melbourne), AI309 (Melbourne–Delhi), AI2204 (Dubai–Hyderabad), AI874 (Pune–Delhi), AI456 (Ahmedabad–Delhi), AI2872 (Hyderabad–Mumbai), and AI571 (Chennai–Mumbai) have been cancelled due to increased maintenance activities and other operational constraints.”
