Srinagar, August 21: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today chaired a high-level meeting to review the relief and rehabilitation measures for people affected by the recent cloudbursts in Kishtwar and Kathua districts.
The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure speedy assistance to the affected families, immediate restoration of essential services, and timely compensation for losses. He further emphasised the need for long-term measures to safeguard vulnerable areas against recurring natural calamities.
