One Dead, 35 Injured as Pilgrims’ Bus Skids in Samba

Samba, Aug 21: A bus carrying Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims from Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, skidded off the road in Jatla area of Samba district on Wednesday, killing one person and injuring 35 others.Police said the injured were taken to local hospitals, while critically wounded were referred to AIIMS Jammu. The deceased was identified as Kripal alias Iqbal (31), son of Harbans from Rukhalu village, Amroha.All victims, including men, women, and children, belong to Amroha district, police added.
