JAMMU, May 30: Director General of the Border Security Force (BSF), Daljit Singh Chawdhary, on Friday conducted a comprehensive review of the security scenario along the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir.
The visit comes amid heightened security concerns and ongoing efforts to strengthen border management in the region.
During his inspection, DG Chawdhary assessed the operational preparedness of BSF troops deployed along the IB and interacted with field commanders to understand the ground realities.
He emphasised the importance of constant vigil, proactive surveillance, and high troop morale in maintaining national security and thwarting any potential threats from across the border.
