LG Manoj Sinha Hails IUST’s Transformation During Foundation Day Valedictory Session

Awantipora, Nov 12: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today addressed the valedictory session of the Islamic University of Science and Technology’s (IUST) Foundation Day celebrations at the university campus in Awantipora.

In his address, the Lt Governor lauded the remarkable progress made by IUST over the past four to five years, describing it as a “historic transformation.” He highlighted the university’s achievements in areas such as student enrolment, startup incubation, sustainability, research, and innovation.

“It is heartening to see the significant milestones achieved by IUST in a short span of time. The university has emerged as a hub of knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship,” LG Sinha said.

The Lt Governor also commended the university administration, faculty, and students for their collective efforts in driving academic excellence and contributing to the region’s development.

The Foundation Day celebrations concluded with a renewed commitment to advancing IUST’s vision of fostering innovation and quality education in Jammu and Kashmir.
