SRINAGAR: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that any attack on India would be met with decisive retaliation, citing Operation Sindoor launched after the recent Pahalgam terror incident.At a Cooperative and Employment Festival, Shah said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership had transformed India’s security posture. “Unlike the frequent attacks during Congress rule, strong responses now follow every act of terror,” he said, referencing the surgical strike after Uri, the airstrike post-Pulwama, and the latest operation targeting camps in Pakistan.Shah also highlighted India’s economic rise to the 4th largest global economy and the upliftment of 27 crore people from poverty under Modi’s government, asserting that India now sends a clear message: its sovereignty and citizens will be firmly defended.
