SRINAGAR: National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah on Friday reiterated his call for the immediate restoration of Jammu and Kashmir’s statehood, asserting it is a right, not a favour.
Speaking to reporters during a condolence visit to the Aga family in Budgam, Abdullah said the people of J&K have been denied their democratic and constitutional rights for too long, and restoring full statehood is vital to preserving the region’s dignity and autonomy.
