Srinagar, June 23:A Srinagar court has convicted Saqib Faheem Kachroo of Bohlochipora, Soura, for submitting a fake ISO-9000 certificate in a government tender for chemistry lab supplies.
The case, registered under FIR No. 48/2004 at Crime Branch Kashmir, followed a complaint by the Directorate of School Education. Kachroo’s firm, M/s Marinex Chemie, allegedly submitted the forged certificate to meet tender requirements, intending to deceive the department.An investigation confirmed the document was fake, leading to his conviction for forgery and attempted fraud.
